Vegafit it’s products are produced by the company Bobeldijk Food Group. Vegafit is Bobeldijk it’s own brand. Like Vegafit, Bobeldijk Food Group is located in Deventer, in the Netherlands.
All Vegafit products are 100% vegan. In other words, no ingredients derived from animals or ingredients from animal origin were used to produce our products.
Wheat protein is a type of plant-based protein, it is extracted from wheat grains. The majority of proteins in wheat are gluten.
We prefer to purchase our raw materials as locally as possible. The soy we use comes from Europe: Austria and Italy. This way, we do not contribute to the massive deforestation of the rainforest in Brazil.
All of Vegafit’s products are palmoilfree. Vegafit was the first company to receive a palm oil free certificate from the foundation Go Palm Oil Free.
Yes, the Vegafit products are suitable for children, but due to the risk of suffocation, it is not desirable to give the products to children under 4 years old. However, the products are a good source of protein and dietary fiber for children.
Yes, the products are heated to a minimum of 75 °C. There are no raw products, and therefore suitable for pregnant women.
Vitamin B12 is a nutrient that is only found in animal products, not in plant-based products. Because our products are 100% plant-based, vitamin B12 has been added to all of our products.
Iron and zinc are also important concerns for people who mainly eat plant-based foods. A deficiency of Iron or zinc is more likely to occur when you eat plant-based. Therefore, iron and zinc have been added to some of our products.

We advise not to freeze the product, because the product has already been frozen during production. Freezing again does not improve the quality and structure of the product.
After opening the packaging, we recommend storing the product for a maximum of 2 days in the refrigerator at a maximum of 7 °C.
Replacing meat more often with plant-based alternatives is good for the environment. The production of meat substitutes costs much less energy, water, land and raw materials than the production of meat.

Sustainability is taken into account in every step of the production of our products. We do this by means of the following components; heat recycling, saving water, reducing oil waste, natural refrigerant, local suppliers and combating food waste.

Vegafit’s products are a good source of or even high protein, but even a day without meat or meat substitute can do no harm. On average, most people get more than enough protein in than is needed on a daily basis.

The packaging is made from 90-100% recycled PET, also known as rPET. Our sleeve is made of cardboard.
The packaging is made of mono material, which means that it consists of one type of material. The packaging can therefore be recycled again and again. This is the most sustainable option for packaging our products.
Vegafit was the first company to receive a palmoil-free certificate from the Go Palm Oil Free Foundation. Due to the clearing of the rainforest to create palm oil plantations, the production of palmoil has a major impact on the rainforest and the animals that live in it.
