This is what you need:
1 package Vegafit Balls
350 ml pure pomegranate juice
1 tbs sugar
1 tbs agave syrup
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
Pinch of salt and pepper
1 cinnamon stick
10g fresh mint
This is how it’s made:
Cut the shallot finely. Fry the shallot 1 min. in a dash of oil.
Add the pomegranate juice, the sugar, agave syrup, balsamic vinegar, cinnamon stick, salt and pepper. Cook together for 20-25 min. on medium high heat. Take the sauce pan off the stove once the sauce is thickening and let the sauce cool down a bit.
Puree the sauce in a blender or with a hand blender.
Fry the balls in a dash of oil on medium high heat for 4 minutes.
In the mean time, take the leaves of the mintstalks and cut the leaves in thin strips. Heat up the sauce briefly before serving. Pour the sauce over the Balls and garnish with mint strips and pomegranate seeds.
